It started with a snail. Crafty little 7 year old me was living in Bermuda taking a picture of a snail on a leaf when I found my passion in photography. With that photo I placed second best in show in a photography contest full of people triple my age with that very photograph of a snail.
I don't take pictures of snails anymore, but I have never been more in love with photography. In the last few years I have worked hard to explore and develop my style; which is still evolving.
As a primarily editorial photographer, I specialize in creating lookbooks and editorials that are not only visually stunning and tell a story, but are also on point with companies' brand standards. I manipulate and adapt to lighting with ease and have impeccable attention to detail. My goal is to always bring a unique perspective to every shoot.
After watching the movie Julie and Julia, I started a blog in 2010 where for the next three years I shared photography tips, craft ideas, recipes, fashion outfits and much more. During that time my blog reached over a million views, and has been featured on the Canadian Living blog, mentioned in a Huffington Post article I and was a contributor to a number of other blogs.
In 2011 I began offering blog design to my readers. Since then I have designed over 60 blogs and websites for people all over the world including, Korea, Australia, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Canada, the US and many more!
In 2013 I became a student at Kwantlen Polytechnic University where graduated with a degree in Graphic Design for Marketing. I'm now a passionately curious freelance designer located on Vancouver Island who loves working with people who understand the power of a strategic and beautiful brand.
